Hullo!
Can somebody please either link me to, or explain plainly how to set up ndiswrapper, or the BSD equivelant, using PC-BSD, so that I can get my machine connected to my wireless AP?
I know there's already other threads asking this question in one way or other, but after a good stretch of time spent investigating the threads, as well as googling my arse off, I don't seem to be able to find anything very substantial on this. Although it would be nice, I'm not even fishing about for a GUI proggy or anything. I'll seriously be happy just to know how to do it in command line.
I've got two different wireless cards, one is an ACX-111, a NetGear jobby, and the other is some god-awful generic bugger, whose serial escapes me at present.
I've actually had these cards up and running using ndiswrapper in Fedora Core 2 (though for some reason I can't get them to work at all in Fedora Core 4!!). But coming over to FreeBSD after Linux is leaving me all confused, and everything.
Normally, when I'm trying out new OS's, if I run into trouble like this I'll grumble for a few days, then re-install WinXP so that I can get some work done. I really want to keep at this, though, so some help would be greatly appreciated.
Ta heaps!! :)
