Hello people

I know that many want to have a control center and Kris is alone doing the job. But i have read good comments on KDE Mission Control and that could be applied easy as it is based on KDE. This app was used by Lycoris and PClinux os. I read on distrowatch that one linux distribution has extended this application to install even Nvidia drivers, clean user history, etc.

Could this be an idea for using KDE Mission Control as a Pc-Bsd controll center?

the linux distribution that has used Kde Mission Control is called onebase linux.

The link of this app is here:

would be great to use this app and extend it more.

just my idea

I've always likes the idea of putting the system conf stuff in Konqueror - if doesn't HAVE to look the way it does - Konqueror is little more than a bunch of kparts in a box.

Open konqueror and try these.

settings:/Network/
fonts:/System
applications:/MyPrograms
settings:/LookNFeel/

It's just giving us a little taste of what COULD be going on in there, and with a custom sidebar I think it could go off. The default (and ugly) Services tab on the Konqueror sidebar shows in a very basic and raw ugly form the two frame navigation potential.
