IF I hotswap in a wifi or other USB device into a USB 2.0 hub connected into a USB1.0 built in, the system redetects and remounts the Flash drive.

Thoughts, people?

Your post simply makes a statement and it does not urge people to think. Maybe you should rephrase

Why does it happen?

I know if I yank my Wifi before I shutdown the internet connection I get allot of spam on tty1 (boot screen). I don't know about USB dev's other then drives, there should only be a few lines telling you it was detached. The only USB perips I use & swap is my flashdrive, that I unmount be4 removing so I dunno.

I know what I detached... my Wifi to 'wake' the bloody thing up after it times out... I'll take a look at TTY1 next time I do it :)
