View Full Version : Bingo! The weird font problem in Kaffeine is gone!

I found out where the fonts problem in Kaffeine and Firefox came from. When you installed the MS fonts, all your PC-BSD looked like Windows except sometimes Kaffeine and/or Firefox. Well, it's easy enough now to give this bug an end:

su
cd /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType/
rm sazanami-gothic.ttf sazanami-mincho.ttf

Log out from KDE and relog in, all your applications look consistent now ;)

If the MS Fonts PBI made everything look like windows, I'm glad I never used PC-BSD's default fonts on Windows.

The whole OS looked like the old Linux-Firefox PBI.
