Don't you think the KDE clock is a little rough around the edges? :)
Would you like to use a regular font for the clock instead?

Yes Charles. I had already written that down here... :D
The default clock is so Eighties...
I am using font size 12 for the clock and 10 for the date.
Also, check the pager. (by default it uses the "Elegant background" but if you change the background for transparency it looks much better as it uses tha taskbar color as background).

The clock at the bottom looks nicer.
The clock on top reminds me of my attempt to run X on Suse 6.2.

Now it looks exactly like on DesktopBSD and taskbar is smaller also- where I put all my open tasks, they won't fit on my screen?

The one at the bottom, although I don't care for the date on the side. It's only good if you use a full length panel or trim the content of said panel.
The first is like my alarm clock with black instead of red.
Wow that's a bit of icons pcbsdusr, but you should see one of my friends his whole desktop is nothing but icons =S
I hate deafult KDE`s clock style, and that`s why I always change it to something else, like a smoother font.
Plus, I always make my taskbar smaller, than it`s in default state; because I really hate those giant taskbars with stupid, huge icons.
It reminds me the Suse and others style, which I simply hate.
That`s senseless.
Well, it looks like everythings`s about hate now :D

I like default clock theme- just hate this AM/PM thingy (never understand why some(one)country use this ancient/awry style)- I live in 24h zone btw . Just love large icons (handy with notebook), I like large taskbar so I see what programs are running- I hate to select twice to open windows I want to see.

I hate hate
Seriously, the "AM/PM" thing is useless unless you live in a cave 24/7/356 where you don't know if it's the morning or the afternoon. When it's 6 o'clock, you just already know if it's 6 am or 6 pm

We got long winter nights here, so you are right- we feel like living in cave sometimes... But today is +30C- so, where is my icecream?

Drill a hole in the wall, bring a pipe from the outside through an air filter to your pc case and there you have endless free quiet cooling for winter overclocking habits. Works in Canada!

I know 12hour format is rubbish. I like to use 24, and try to plan events using GMT online, but most people offline stair at you like you got bug eyes if you say I'll be their at 1700 Hours 8-)
Peronsally the default clock font is ok if you enable the LCD Screen on it, other wise it's hard to read if you go with a trainsparent panel -> Which I do since I hate desktop icons/program menus more then bottom bars and terminals.

Okay enough talking, I have a request for the ultra geek "clock in the taskbar". I want something like this:
http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/lights/59e0/
And we can let them advertise us too ;)
Well, there`s already binary clock widget for Opera, so you can use it if you want :D

I like the first one, because the numbers aren't all curvy. However, I do like how the second one is smaller.
