Hey People,
I've been bumpin' my head for a few hours trying pc-bsd to boot.
Without any succes.
Im usig VMWARE tot try it before I make the switch.
It installs just fine. But when I remove the cd I only get:
FreeBSD/i386 boot
Default: 0: ad (0,a)
boot:
When i hit enter it pops back up again.
Tried to install GAG. This looks promissing but it only results in the same error.
Can anyone of you help me

I've installed it heaps of time in VMware 5 and got no problems - Try giving it no more the 10 gig of space, make sure you select FREEBSD from the operating system choice menu when setting up the VM, that will select the right disk controllers - dont use virtual scsi disks - use a virtual IDE hard disk - and the CD drive should be a master (I think) - Like, master on IDE 2.

If you have anymore trouble Ill post up a vm config file - but I'm on the wrong computer atm.

ps. Sound will be a little choppy - thats VMware though.
