View Full Version : How to issue a command in the PBI shortcut?

I have an Opera PBI that also shows a few links in the K Menu, one to the Opera web site, another one to Support, and the last one to forums. Problem is that clicking these links launch Konqueror, because Konqueror is the default browser. Using a command, it would be possible to launch the links in Opera instead of Konqueror. How can I do that?

I bet if you setup a binary enty in PBI Creator that used a shellscript that would run your Opera binary from the PBI and point it to link/file.
Just like %opera http://sasclan.org/ would in a shell.
I be that would work.

Something like this
Create a script like:
# calls the opera binary & points it to a website
fire up PBI Creator, set up the lisense e.t.c. Then when you set up the binaries/kmenu entries save the script as like /Your/PBI/Directory/scriptname. Press add, enter the script for the binary, name it what you will. Check the box for opening as a www link & vola.

Oh, yes, that's right. Do as if you were calling an actual application while you actually launch a shell script. This should work 8)
