Frequency scaling doesn't work. The system has ACPI support, but powerd gives this error.
powerd: lookup freq: No such file or directory cpu frequency scaling.
What can I do to get frequency scaling working. I'm new to BSD. I googled a lot, but I couldn't find anything that helped.

/boot/loader.conf
cpufreq_load="YES"
/etc/rc.conf:
powerd_enable="YES"
powerd_flags="−a adaptive −b adaptive −n adaptive"

@Antik, I tried your howto and it works for me too : ) However I would like to be able to make my processor work @800 MHz instead of 1,8 GHz. Is there a way to do this?
In Windows i'm using this tool http://www.diefer.de/speedswitchxp/ , is there something similar for PCBSD?

Side question, i have one of the very first PIII M processors. It used to run win 98 with speedstep so i could change the frequency or have it change when i went from AC to Battery (1ghz to 750mhz ish)
Can i do this with PCBSD? and how? (i am new to BSD, not a noob to linux (but hardly a guru either)
