I've been hesitant to say anything as I thought I was probably missing the obvious but it seems as if I can't access any areas on my machine except the partition PC-BSD resides on. I list as drive options:
/home/Weixiong/ad0
/home/Weixiong/cdrom
/home/Weixiong/cdrom1
/mnt/usbflash0
/mnt/usbflash2
/mnt/usbflash3
/mnt/usbflash4
I have an 80GB Seagate Barracuda ATA HD and dualboot Win98SE/PC-BSD 0.75. My FAT32 partition is /home/Weixiong/ad0 but it appears to be completely empty. No Items-No Files-No Folders.
My DVD drive will play a music CD so it is working, but a CD burned with files appears empty (the drive appears empty) and I can't view anything on the music CD. The LG brand CD/RW won't play a CD or read the data disk.
An internal Iomega 100MB Zip drive isn't recognized and an external Iomega USB zip drive doesn't show anything in the /mnt/usbflash0 areas either. The power indicator lights up but none of the USB options show a disk as being inserted in the drive.
I don't mean to complain or anything, and sorry if this is due to stupidity on my part. It installed well and all other hardware was recognized. If I can get the CD/RW to burn a disk I might wipe the Windows partition and give it over to PC-BSD.
EDIT: I was finally able to access my Windows partition from /usr/home/Weixiong/Desktop/Computer/ado and the DVD player from /usr/home/Weixiong/Desktop/Computer/Windows/acd0.
The CD/RW drive works now that I've insatalled K3b so I'm going to wipe Windows and make it a dedicated PC-BSD box.
