I got this same error. I got around it by downloading the source from
http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/src/gst-plugins-base/ and placing it in
the /usr/ports/distfiles/gnome2 dir

I am still using the orignal distfile from fd.org, the GNOME ftp is the
only that has the different distfile. I am replacing the order of fetch,
so it will fetching to fd.org first before go to GNOME ftp. I have sent an
email to gstreamer-devel about fd.org and GNOME ftp don't have the match
md5. So... If developers respone back and say that GNOME ftp is better,
then I will fixing those w/ bump and possible add an entry in UPDATING.

I had to tell 'make distclean', because anyone that already tried GNOME
ftp then try it again w/ fd.org, the fetch will complaining about time
mismatch.

Cheers,
