Sorry, but I'm completely new to BSD. Any UNIX experience comes from Linux, so I'm not sure what's going on. My install went fine, and I was able to get GRUB to boot PCBSD, but, after a time, my boot simply hangs. I get the "System Booting" screen, and can press escape to see the details, and it shows something like ad0, with some information about what I presume is my hard drive after it. Before that, there is a similar message about my CDRW. Any help in getting me past this point would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It seems to be a problem with your HDD...
Could you post the specific error message please?
