The 2.0 pbi installs fine on rc1, but then will not run. It appears to be looking for OOo in a different path from where the pbi installed it. Setting a symlink lets it find the soffice binary, but then fails with an "Illegal Operation" error.

Any ideas?

This is not a reply but I have issues with the same PBI, and I would like to comment further on the OO.o pbi too. I am using the latest English version of OO.o, the latest Java pbi and the latest release of PCBSD. On one machine, the OO.o pbi never starts. On another machine it installs and runs fine it seems, untill I try and use the "base" program (database creator, etc...) OO.o complains that the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is defective and that a newer version needs to be installed. Obviously, I removed and reinstalled the Java PBI (version 1.5), before reinstalling OO.o, and I tried to install in different orders with no success. I have not tried to install the 1.4 version of Java from Sun's website yet. Any idea anybody? Do we need to use Java 1.4 or twick something somewhere??? Thanks for any feedback on both issues you all may give...

The OO2 packages i have tested (Brazilian and European Portuguese) work fine here so it it probabiliy a problem with that PBI.
