Hi,

What I am asking for is a short description to what degree PC-BSD promotional activities resulted in increase of the system's usage.

How efficient those efforts were and in what way we would be helpful or where and how we the users (prospective users ;) ) are embedded in your PC-BSD/iXsystems PR strategy/plans.

TIA

Regards

P.S. (added later)
One may ask why I come forward with the questions. I'm a pessimist. :(

(...)or where and how we the users (prospective users ;) ) are embedded in your PC-BSD/iXsystems PR strategy/plans.Hi,

Perhaps some of PC-BSD users would evince muted piss off attitude reading such trifles, as there are dozens of threads about the issues and there are places such as
http://wiki.pcbsd.org/index.php/Tasks_Looking_for_People
http://wiki.pcbsd.org/index.php/Supporting_PC-BSD

but having quick look into the latest threads on the subject (vide What about the name PC-BSD...is it a great brand? http://forums.pcbsd.org/showthread.php?t=13787, the overall picture is not so rosy.

Perhaps PC-BSD teamers have the answer thought over why the community support slowed down recently (if my seeing things is correct). What are their views backed by their experience and further/deeper insight into the developers' world with all the pros and cons we are not able to catch up with looking into the monitor screens at home.

I think some broader perspective description from dev point of view would help some (me too) to eschew the "round Robin" pointless discussions in this field once and for all. :)
