the link to the howto article is maybe important because, when he done like this link and failed the old hand could say that is not the fault of bsd.

Good idea Dingens
Was thinking that FAQ's layout could do also, "PC-BSD - Installation" will be replaced to "Graphic cards" etc

Let's do it this way temporarily...
 Make this Thread a stickie (with the newer posts coming first)
 Each user copies valio's first thread to it's post and adds his hardware if not present already
 If some comment is needed, it should be added after the hardware device between commas
Example:
"Mouses:
Microsoft usb mouse
Logitech MX310 usb mouse (only right, left buttons and scroll work. the three extra buttons dont work)"
What do you guys think?
Cheers!
Renato

I think it would be better to post these details in the knowledge database:
http://www.pcbsd.org/faqs/index.php?sid ... show&cat=5 (http://www.pcbsd.org/faqs/index.php?sid=7867&lang=en&action=show&cat=5)
There are the compatible and incompatible hardware databases

Running 0.7.5
Gateway 700S (I beleieve)

10GB Maxtor Hard drive
Sony DVD+-RW DL
Matshita DVD-RAM/R
ATI Radioon All-in-one 9000

I havent had any hardware issues so to say. The Sony DVD-rom does support burning both CDs and DVDs, however the speed of CD burning doesnt get past 26x, and this is under K3B.
