Hi guys,

Just give a short come-back of my first test of pc-bsd v9 beta2.

Test was short because install failed :
before the end of the pc-bsd install (tested with dvd 64 bits), the machine stopped and reboot : and the OS didn't boot correctly (i suppose instal didn't finished)

For information: i have tested it not on my pc, but in virtual machine (quemu, virt-manager). In option, i choose freebsd 8.xx. (the host machine is a debian squeeze testing)
For information, i have no problem to install freebsd 8 with the sames choice.

Thanksfull for your help :)

Did your virtual machine meet the minimum requirements of 512 MB RAM and 15 GB virtual disk space? http://wiki.pcbsd.org/index.php/Using_VirtualBox

Yes i do,
1 go of ram and 30go of hdd.
I didn't used virtualbox (lol) (pc-bsd works with vbox whitout any problem)
but i used virt-manager (quemu) on debian squeeze.

For information, the install of freebsd 8.x with this way was successfull.
I have no tested it with freebsd 9.x
