Hi guys.

I have problem with *BSD. The sysinstaller in PCBSD work perfectly. I install PCBSD on hdd, reboot and nothing. I got black screen with white square. I have ATi x1950, on linux works ok, on *bsd not, i'm using opensource drivers xf86-video-ati. And there's some pic. Now i'm on windows 7, maybe i will install pcbsd, or freebsd again ;)

After you load up, at the boot-splash screen can you hit the option to
run in "vesa" mode? Does that make any difference?

The ATI support is pretty hit-n-miss right now. You can try adjusting
the /etc/X11/xorg.conf, but if this is a driver issue there probably
wont be a lot you can do there.
