Does anyone know if my ATI RADEO HD3600 Graphics Card will work with PCBSD? I really want to install PCBSD, but cannot find any information on it working with my Card. I found some Radeon HD Series, such as ATI Radeon X1000, HD1000, HD2000 series, but am unsure if this will allow me to work with mine or not. Anyone have a work around? Or can I just install the Os and see if it works?

The ATI cards work with FreeBSD and PC-BSD but there is no proprietary driver which means no accelerated 3D. It will still work with the open source driver but video quality will not be as good as with a proprietary driver.

All ati cards that are supported is listed on the Xorg website. Website http://dri.freedesktop.org/wiki/ATIRadeon
You need to convert your HD# into an appropriate chipset based on R# or RV#...in your case, it is likely r600, but I am not sure.
After installation, you will need to select the ati or ati-3D driver from the list of driver during display setup to write the working Xorg.conf.
