OK, I plan to start translating the Handbook and FAQs in romanian, and I need to know wich format I should use to do that.. html/txt/php, etc? Thanks.

Handbook is made by FreeBSD team, so I think you should contact them. They suggest subscribing to mailing list (http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-doc).
