Jeez....! This is great! So now we can create hybrid CDs with autoruns for Windows and PC-BSD :)

Which wall paper did you choose? The one with the logo in the center of the screen?

PC-BSD is improving, guys!

The FDISK fixes mean I can finally run PC-BSD on my Athlon64, I have a working Implementation of GNOME PC-BSD here, but It's pretty rough and ready atm, so going to wait for 0.8.3 before sorting it out completely

I did a bit of searching online, and it looks like FreeBSD is able to mount UDF CD's. From the commandline as root, try "mount_udf /dev/acd0 /mnt" I don't think KDE will auto-detect UDF and mount it properly though. I'll do some looking into it though. Good thing you brought it up, I had forgotten about it, I havent heard about UDF in years now :)

My downloader said that german mirror had size mismatched with original iso file...

EDIT I managed to download normal iso only over bittorrent.

perl-5.6.2_2 Practical Extraction and Report Language
perl-5.8.7 Practical Extraction and Report Language

What is this? All you have to do after installing new perl (http://people.freebsd.org/~tobez/pau.html) is:
perl-after-upgrade
The tool goes through the list of installed packages, looks for those that depend on perl, moves files around, modifies shebang lines in those scripts in which it is necessary to do so, tries its best to adjust dynamically linked binaries that link with libperl.so in the old path, and updates the package database.

Use with care.

Hi,

Just updated my 0.8.2 to 0.8.3. Very cool, easy update! Btw, the icon on the Desktop (package creator 0.8 icon) seems a bit too big for a screen of 1024x768.

The pop-up hint also looked too big. Is it possible to reduce it in your next release?

Cheers!

Hi, I think it would be interesting to have the possibility of download the packages of the individual languages instead of download the whole ISO nš2. Itīs useful to lower the bandwith ussage by the server and clients, cause a user hardly ever need to use all of them.
BTW, itīs great to see how PC-BSD is evolving continuously! 8)
