I downloaded PC-BSD a while ago and used it in a Virtual machine and I was very impressed. So when I was given an old laptop the other day I thought about putting it on.
I installed the version I had 7.x which all went well and everything worked out of the box so to speak including wireless.
I only then realised that 8.1 was available so I downloaded that and ran through the upgrade, again all was well until I tried to configure the wireless connection. On applying the changes on the adapter in the GUI the machine rebooted.
I thought it may be a driver conflict due to upgrading so I reinstalled 8.1 fresh, but the problem is still there.
Any ideas?
