Review of Dru's Book

I picked up Dru's book from Amazon, primarily because I didn't understand how to use the ports system. IMHO, this is really an outstanding piece; it's rare to find a document that is this thorough and readable at the same time. I recommend it highly, especially for newbies like me. The only con that I can point out is that it doesn't go into much depth on the BSD side of things outside ports. But...this is for PC-BSD, not FreeBSD, for which there are other resources. And there is a lot of info on KDE.

I have no financial interest in this volume, yada, yada, yada. I just really got a lot out of it, and read it quickly.
