Hi there!
Just a suggestion:
I think that the programs that require Linux Binary Compat 1.0 (or any other) pbi to work should be more clearly marked on the download site with a link to the pbi required.. this is to save confusion for the normal user.
For example : the link to the program has a different color, or an icon, or something that clearly marks it as requiring linux binaries.
As a user I downloaded and installed Realplayer - and it didnt work. Of course I completely forgot that I had reinstalled PCBSD so I just assumed that the pbi was broken. I just realised that it was because I have to reinstall the linux binaries.
Also, Skype didn't work. I am not at home to try it, but I assume that Skype needs linux binaries too? If so, then that download does not mention it and so the page should be updated.
If you want to make PCBSD a friendly system for all, this sort of information needs to be very clear for the enduser... the whole point of the pbi system is to stop these dependency issues.
