ATI HD 4650 (RV730) driver ?

Hi,
Just had to buy a new graphics card. Burned the previous one.
I got myself an ATI Radeon HD4650 with a RV730 chipset. According to their wiki (http://www.x.org/wiki/radeonhd) it should work without any problem... Yeah...
I boot up pc-bsd (7.1.1) with option 7 to change the graphics driver. Selecting the Radeonhd from the dropdown list. Nothing PCbsd (or the x-server) won't accept any driver in any resolution ! The only thing that works is Vesa in 1024x768... And yes, i tried every resolution and even the Ati and Ati-3D driver from the list. Nothing works (or gets accepted by X). By the way, the card works marvelously with windows xp and with ubuntu 9.10 (with Catalyst, but hey, it works in 2048x1152 on my 23" screen).
In my /var/log/Xorg.0.log i see this :

So, how do i get pc-bsd (and/or X) to get my card accepted ?

Additional info :
I applied the changes suggested in viewtopic.php?f=25&t=14266 (http://forums.pcbsd.org/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=14266), but all i get is the following error message :
"X server died during startup
X server for display :0 cannot be started, session disabled"

And this goes on and on and on...
So the only way to get my desktop up is to boot into Vesa 1024x768.

My graphic card is ATI 4670 and I have a same problem with 7.1 version of PC-BSD

That's the only possibility 1024x768. That a samething on my laptop P30 toshiba intel

When you want to change that does not work Both 32-bit than 64bit. For the alpha 8.0 version I dont tested with other configuration screen. Maybe a driver ???

Ok, problem solved...
The bad news : the drivers from 7.1.1 are too old ! You need at least x11-drivers/xf86-video-ati 6.12.4 instead of the 6.12.2 or x11-drivers/radeonhd 1.3.0 instead of 1.2.5.
The good news : these new drivers come with version 8 :)
So hopefully pc-bsd 8 will be out soon !
