So please forgive me
I have never had a good BSD experience yet
I've used sevral linux flavors and tried bsd also
I had been using Gnome with Ubunntu Jaunty which automaticly detected my video and offered me to install the restricted driver and was working like a charm
very snappy.
I wanted to switch over to KDE because seems like the apps are better but I prefer the look and customization of GNOME
So I decided to go with PCBSD because BSD is supposed to be so great
So after install I can't get the video to work to save my life.
I'm pretty sure it's the intell chip but I've tried them all and can't get any to acccept anything above 1024 24 bit
obviously this is a bit frustrating any help greatly appreciated
