I am a noob, but trust me i have read, and read. I cant figure out how to get my wireless nic to work. i have tried ndiswrapper. i can never get it to work. i look at dmesg and it doesnt even show or recognize the card. What could be my problem?

I run ndisgen and get this output after inputting the file locations

Generating Makefile...done. Building kernel module... "/usr/share/mk/bsd.kmod.mk", line 12: "can't find kernel source tree." build failed. exiting

Is there something i am doing wrong? i am running 7.1 with kde4.1 should i build the drivers in using something else? thanks ahead of time for any help.

i successfully kldloaded the files, and edited the /boot/loader.conf

i copied the necessary files to /boot/modules
nothing is working yet. i have been looking around. there is alot of problems with this card on BSD's and Linux.

this is what shows up in my dmesg

pci0: <network, ethernet> at device 11.0 (no driver attached)

i do have onboard ethernet, but it is working with the GENERIC drivers. i also have a Belkin Wireless Card in my PCI slot

here is my pciconf -lv
