Hey all,
I would like to make konsole tranparent.
1. Open console
2. Go to Settings | Edit Current Profile.
3. Click on the Appearance tab.
4. Choose a Scheme.
I get the following message in Konsole when I try to make it transparent.
This color scheme uses a transparent background which does not appear to be supported on your Desktop.
5. If I click edit on the scheme, it says this:
The background transparency setting will not be used because you desktop does not appear to support transparent windows.
Is this how it is on all PC-BSD installs? Or just mine?
Is this a video card problem? I am in vmware using the vmware driver. I have wmare tools installed.
If it is a video card problem, is there a way to tell if the video card supports transparency and if so to enable it?
Is it just that I don't have some software installed?
