This tip has been around for a long time but new people may find it useful.
Enter in the internet address line
about:config
Go past the warning
Find
network.http.pipelining - double click on it to set it to true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests - double click on it and set the integer to 48
network.http.max-connections - double click on it and set the integer to 64
network.http.max-connections-per-server - double click on it and set the integer to 48
Right click on the menu - select New - Integer
Type in - nglayout.initial.paint.delay - Enter - 0 for the interger value
Go to File and Exit
When you restart your browser, it should be much faster.
