Read man pages for Xenerama.

Do you use proprietary driver? If that is the case probably is of very law quality and doesn't play well with xinerama. Try nv driver from XOrg.

'nv' is the one from X.Org OKO.
According to the xorg.conf manual I have handy,
Option "Rotate" "rotation"
This optional entry specifies the initial rotation of the given
monitor. Valid values for rotation are "normal", "left",
"right", and "inverted". (RandR 1.2-supporting drivers only)
So I would have to say s/180/inverted/
The nv driver offers a few things to it's rotate option (but not rotate by degress!), including 'Option "Rotate" "RandR"' which apparently enables the RandR extension but lacks hardware acceleration :-(.
What is the output of xrandr -v ?
'nv' is the one from X.Org OKO.
That is exactly what I said. I suggested that he use nv from the XOrg instead of binary blob driver which I believe is the default option on PC-BSD with NVidia video cards. I do not have a clue what is the name
of that proprietary binary blob.
You have a point about graphics acceleration. I believe that OpenGL works only on Intel and some ATi video cards. Unless he needs intensive graphics
applications for his work or games  nv is all he needs.
Cheers,
OKO
