View Full Version : Dymo Label Writer 400 Turbo

Supposedly this is supported via CUPS. I see the printer is recognized on boot, and reported correctly, and I set it up via CUPS with the Dymo LabelWriter 1.3 driver, it's in my KDE options to print, says it printed successfully, but nothing is spit out.

Apparently others have gotten similar models to work under Linux. I will keep trying and see if I find a solution. Meanwhile any suggestions are welcome.

Update, I'm looking at the SDK for OSX a bit closer. The driver is fully supported under OSX, and since OSX uses CUPS...

any binary files in the driver or just the usual crud?

I just installed the drivers on my Powerbook last night. Not really had a chance to sit down and look through everything. Dymo offered a "beta" cups driver a couple years ago. Which should be the one currently in CUPS (Dymo Labelwriter 1.3). But it didn't do a test print from my Mac either. Just advanced a label one space.
