People might be more readily able to help you if they knew what the device type, make, model, and chipset was.

Hi,

It 's a ACER TravelMate 4262WLMi:

I think it 's for my wireless ( no work by default ) , memory card and the Cellular Enhancement Protocol: GPRS, UMTS, EDGE, HSDPA or modem ?

How see that ? :)

Thanks.

As far as wireless goes, check this thread (http://forums.pcbsd.org/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=9763&hilit=intel+3945) (appears the be the same model wifi card).

The support for memory card readers in FreeBSD 6.3/PC-BSD 1.5.x depends on how they are connected, if it doesn't work now it probably isn't compatible.

It's usually remediable with an external USB card reader.

Cellular Enhancement Protocol otoh, is just over my head lol.

Hi,

i found with google that for mi wifi card:

http://www.clearchain.com/wiki/Wpi

When will there be a backport to 6.x / When will it be available
Q: Will there be a backport of wpi to 6.x
A: Yes, When the driver becomes stable in -CURRENT & 7.x
A: The decision has been made not to backport this driver to 6.x - there's just too much which has changed between 6 -> 7
Q: When will the backport be available
A: As soon as I get the driver stable
A: The backport has been cancelled.

:(

I see your link.

I see pciconf -lv in a site:
