Upgrade to 0.8?

I used the last .7.8.6 beta or whatever it was and I'm wondering if there's an easy way to upgrade

As far as I know there is no upgrade path available for releases prior to 0.8. A new upgrade for 0.8 is required and then my understanding is that system updates are selected from the menu.
